Replying to Reviews

A reply shows future clients that you listen. Every reply is public: it is published under the review on your booking page, and the client receives an email with your response. Replying is free — a reply is not sent as a text message and uses no SMS credits.

Where new reviews arrive

When a client submits a review, it lands in that client's conversation in the Inbox as a review card. You also get a notification — for example "★ 4 · Review received" — and ratings of 3 stars or below are flagged as needing attention.

You can switch the Review received notification on or off under your notification settings.

Reply to a review

  1. Open the client's conversation in the Inbox.
  2. On the review card, click Reply.
  3. Choose who the reply is published as:
    • Reply as myself — your name and photo appear under the review.
    • Reply as the business — the business name and logo appear instead.
  4. Write your reply and click Save.

The review card switches to ✓ Replied, and the reply appears under the review on your booking page.

Where else you can reply

The same review card, with the same Reply and Hide review actions, appears wherever the appointment shows up:

  • On the appointment card in the client's profile.
  • In the appointment details when you open it from the calendar.

Tips for good replies

  • Reply to low ratings first — a calm, specific response to a 2-star review builds more trust with readers than ten thank-you notes.
  • Keep it short: thank the client, address the specific point, say what changes.
  • Never share appointment or payment details in a reply — it is public.
