Limit Service Locations

Sometimes a service is offered only in one place – a massage room in the main location, a special machine in a single studio, or a pop-up location that exists for a season. In Appointible it is easy to limit a service so it appears only in selected business locations.

Open services

First step is to open the list of services for the business account.

  1. Log in to Appointible.
  2. Click Settings in the left menu.
  3. Under Services, rooms and equipment, click Services.

Edit the service

Next step is to open the service that should be limited to one (or a few) locations.

  1. In Services, find the service that needs location limits.
  2. Click the service name to open the Edit service window.

Set location availability

Now it is time to decide in which business locations this service can be booked. This affects both the Booking Website and the internal calendar.

  1. On the Details tab, scroll to the Availability section.
  2. In the list of business locations, leave selected only the location where the service should be available.
  3. Unselect all other locations where the service must not be offered.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

After saving, the service will appear only in the selected business location on the booking website and when creating appointments in the Calendar.

Availability vs equipment

The name of this section can change a bit depending on how the account is configured. The behavior is the same, but the label can look different.

  • If the account has multiple business locations and no equipment set up, the section is called Availability and shows the list of locations.
  • If the account has multiple business locations and equipment configured at the same time, the section is called Required equipment. In this case, location availability is controlled together with equipment selection.
  • If the service belongs to a Service group, its locations come from the group and can't be changed in the service. Change them in Service groups instead.

If a service still appears in the wrong location after adjusting these settings, check that the correct business locations exist in Locations and that Booking website enabled? is on for that location in Online booking.
