Adding Locations

Multiple locations keep calendars, business hours, and the Booking Website organized per place. This article covers adding a location, filling in its details, and where each of its other settings lives.

Info

Adding another location requires the Pro plan. On other plans the Add location form shows This feature requires a Pro plan. with a link to upgrade.

Open Locations

  1. Log in to Appointible.
  2. Click Settings in the left menu.
  3. Under Workspace, click Locations.

This opens the list of existing locations and the option to add new ones.

Create New Location

  1. On the Locations page, click Add location.

The Add location form opens on the right side of the screen.

Fill Location Details

The location form holds the details of the place itself. Fill in as much as possible so team members and clients instantly recognize which place is which.

  1. Logo – optional. A location without a logo of its own uses the business logo set on the Brand page.
  2. Location name and Time zone – the two required fields, side by side at the top. Double-check the time zone, especially if locations are in different regions; it affects appointment times in the Calendar.
  3. Use a different public name – leave this checkbox clear and clients see the location name on your booking page. Tick it and a Public name field appears, so the two can differ.
  4. Phone and Email – contact details specific to this location.
  5. Has a physical address? – on by default. Type the full address or drag the red pin on the map to the correct spot. Turn it off for a mobile or online-only business, and the address fields and map go away.

These details are used across the calendar and, once it is turned on, your booking page.

Business hours and online booking are not set in this form. Related settings at the bottom of it links straight to the pages that own the rest:

  • Online booking – the public booking page for this location: link, description, scheduling window and booking rules.
  • Booking policies – how late a client may reschedule or cancel their own appointment.
  • Payment settings – what a client pays when they book at this location: nothing, a deposit, or a no-show fee.

If you have typed anything into the location form and not saved it, following one of these links asks whether to discard those changes first.

Save Location

  1. After reviewing the details, click Create.

The new location appears under Locations. It starts with online booking turned off and business hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Everything else about the location is set on its own settings page, described below.

Set Business Hours

Each location has its own open weekdays and hours, which are shown to clients on your booking page.
