Sharing Your Booking Link and QR Code

Booking links turns your Booking Website into something you can paste or print: a link for an Instagram, Facebook or TikTok profile, and a QR code for a shop window, a card, a poster or a receipt. Both can be pinned to a location, a language, a service provider and a service, so a client who follows them lands on the right booking step, in the right language. Leave the location open and the client chooses it themselves.

Info

The Booking Website must be enabled for the location first. If it is off for the location you pick, Booking links says so and links you straight to the setting. See Configure Booking Website.
  1. Click Settings in the left menu.
  2. Under Calendar and schedule, click Booking links.

On Home, you can also click Copy the link or get a QR code under Booking link.

The page opens on Link. Nothing on this page is saved: the link and the code are generated from the choices you make, and what you copy or download is the result.

Choose what it books

Under What it books, pick what the link or code should open:

  • Location – the location whose booking page the client lands on. It starts on the location selected in the sidebar. Choose Any location to hand out one link for the whole business: the client picks the location as their first step. A location whose Booking Website is off has no page to share, so the page shows a notice and a link to turn it on instead of a link or a code.
  • Preselected language – leave it on Client's own language and the booking page opens in whatever language the client already uses. Pick a language to force it, which is what you want for a card handed to a particular client or a profile written in one language.
  • Service provider – leave it on Any professional to let the client pick, or type to search and choose one provider to skip that step. The list covers every location, grouped by location; picking someone who works at another location moves Location to theirs.
  • Service – leave it on Any service, or type to search and pick one. Services are grouped the way your service groups are.

Click the ✕ in a field to clear it and go back to any professional, any service, or the client's own language.

Info

Your own language in Appointible does not change what a client sees. Left alone, the booking page follows the client: the language they last used on it, and failing that the country they are browsing from.

The link in Your booking link and the phone preview update as you change these.

  1. Click the Link tile.
  2. Leave Shorten the link on for a short, tidy link, or switch it off for the full link.
  3. Under Your booking link, click the copy icon next to the link. Link copied confirms it.
  4. Paste the link where clients find you. The cards under the link walk through the three common places:

Click the open icon next to the link to check the booking page in a new tab before you share it.

The link also works anywhere else a link works: an email signature, your Google Business profile, a text message to a client, or a WhatsApp message.

Download the QR code

  1. Click the QR code tile.
  2. Pick a Color for the code: click Near-black, Brand purple or Deep teal, or choose your own. Keep it dark against white – if the colour is too light to scan reliably, a warning appears under the picker.
  3. Check the preview card. It shows the real code for the pins you chose, under your location's name.
  4. On that card, click Download PNG for screens and social posts, or Download SVG for print at any size.

The file is named after the location, for example kaunas-belladerma-12-booking-qr.svg.

Test it before you print

Point a phone camera at the code on your screen and follow the link. It should open your Booking Website in the language you chose and, if you pinned a provider or a service, start on that step.

Warning

A code encodes the link as it was when you downloaded it. If you later change the location, language, provider or service it books, download and print a new code – the old one keeps opening the old link.
