Marking Appointments

Confirming an appointment in the calendar takes just a few clicks and helps keep the day nicely organized instead of looking like a mystery novel.

Open the calendar

  1. Go to the Calendar page.
  2. Click the appointment that needs to be confirmed.

Edit the appointment

  1. In the appointment pop-up, click Edit.
  2. This opens the full appointment details so the status can be updated.

Change status to confirmed

  1. In the appointment editor, click the status button that shows Penciled-in (or the current status).
  2. Select Confirmed from the list of statuses.
  3. Click Save to apply the change.

After saving, the appointment will be marked as confirmed in the calendar so it is easy to spot at a glance.

Recognize confirmed icon

In the Calendar, a confirmed appointment shows a green calendar icon. If the icon is green, the appointment is confirmed and good to go.

Client confirmations

Clients can also confirm appointments by replying to appointment reminders sent by text message. This is handy when the day is busy and confirmations arrive automatically.

To allow two-way text replies, the workspace needs an Appointible Pro plan and active rules in Settings > Client notifications > SMS reminders. Confirmations and other reminder activity can be reviewed later in the Logbook.
