Resolving Items That Need Your Attention
Appointible flags anything on your account that needs you: a free trial that is ending or has ended, a subscription payment that failed, a rejected phone number request, a Google or Microsoft calendar that stopped syncing, SMS credits that are running low, and your daily SMS limit. This article shows where they appear and how to clear each one.
Where the issues appear
Open issues show in four places at once, with the same count:
- Home — a Needs your attention card sits directly under the greeting on the Home page. Each issue is one row.
- Notifications bell — the bell in the top bar shows a red number. Opening the notifications does not clear it; only fixing the issues does. When nothing needs attention, a purple dot on the bell means you have unseen notifications.
- Notifications list — a block pinned at the top reads, for example, 2 things need your attention, names the issues and opens Home when clicked.
- Side panel — the Home item carries the same red number.
Each row on the card opens the settings page that fixes the issue. There is nothing to dismiss: a row disappears once the problem is resolved.
Info
End of your free trial
In the last days of your free trial, the row reads Your free trial is ending and names the date your paid plan starts. Nothing needs doing; the row clears once the plan starts.
If the first payment after the trial fails, the row reads Your free trial has ended, in red, and warns that your account access is at risk until the payment goes through.
- Click the trial row. The Billing page opens.
- Pay the open invoice, adding or updating your card if needed.
The row clears as soon as the payment goes through.
Fix a failed payment
The row reads Payment failed on followed by the date. For the first week it asks you to update your payment method. From day 7 it warns that Your account access is at risk until the payment goes through, because access is limited 14 days after the failed payment.
- On the Needs your attention card, click the Payment failed row. The Billing page opens.
- Add a working card. See Updating Credit Card for the steps.
- Click Retry payment.
The row, the red number and the pinned block clear once the payment goes through.
Reconnect a calendar that stopped syncing
The row reads Google Calendar stopped syncing or Microsoft Calendar stopped syncing. Appointible shows one row for each connected calendar that has a problem, for example after a password change or revoked permissions.
- Click the calendar row. The Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar settings page opens.
- Find the calendar marked Sync Failed.
- Click Reconnect and sign in to the Google or Microsoft account again.
For the full connection steps, see Connecting Google Calendar or Connecting Microsoft Calendar.
Top up low SMS credits
The row reads SMS credits are running low and shows the balance left. It appears when SMS is enabled and your balance falls below 5% of your subscription total, or below 3.00 in your subscription currency, whichever is higher.
- Click the SMS credits are running low row. The Billing page opens.
- Buy more credits. See Buying Additional SMS Credits.
To stop the balance running low again, turn on auto-recharge. See Enabling SMS Auto Recharge.
Resubmit a rejected phone number request
The row reads Phone number request rejected, in red, when the request for your own phone number was not approved.
- Click the Phone number request rejected row. The SMS settings page opens.
- Correct the form and submit it again.
The row clears once the request is resubmitted and accepted.
Daily SMS limit
Close to today's SMS limit shows how many SMS were sent today out of your daily limit. The count starts again the next day. The row opens the SMS settings page.
